World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase item damage and enchantments.

They also provide bonuses and improvements. They can be acquired through the Blacksmith.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapon

When a weapon is upgraded, it is granted a base damage bonus and an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components come with aesthetic effects while others give additional features. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools. They generally require that the item upgrading has an upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. Once a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it can be upgraded with a different one however the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-tier salvage tool on the item the item upgrader.

In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded by adding a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon the process can be repeated up to four times.

When the weapon is at max upgrade, it can be rebuilt using a variety of different upgrade types to improve specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. All of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously and the effects vary depending on how rare the weapon is.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage a weapon can cause.

In general, it's Best item upgrade to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and finally, the secondary stats required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons prior to upgrading other equipment. This can help increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item Upgrades let players enhance the base stats of certain pieces of armor trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. item upgrade upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, in loot drops or as quest rewards.

The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. The majority of armor upgrades to the next level after an upgrade. This is the case for most types of armor, however some items cannot be upgraded at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).

Most armor upgrades provide only a slight increase in an item upgrader's base defense or strength. However, certain upgrade components can offer significant enhancements to strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an epic item.

Some upgrades provide special abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, for instance giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades can have effect that are passive and can be useful for example, decreasing damage when wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.

Upgrades to armor can require several attempts, depending on the type of armor. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor that has an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a Dragonscale armor with a base defense of 67-77.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To upgrade their armor players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations holds the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to what many believe, armor is not useless in The Division 2. Some armors offer a significant boost in the reduction of damage caused by poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them valuable for certain types of builds. Additionally, there are ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to reduce the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

A potion can be upgraded by putting it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different level of effects from the potion and is able to be repeated to unlock more potencies.

The potion also has a custom color code, which the player can choose via /give, and that can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color also affects the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, common and thick potions as well as awkward potions now have a new texture when they are brewed. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness are now available. There are lingering potions available that can be prepared using splash potions or dragon breath, and a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:45). Trinket

A trinket is a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. This can be a ring, necklace, or even a small flag to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It could also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a vessel.

This bizarre trinket is believed to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more common. At present it makes all types of mimic Xx more popular and gives each floor an X% chance of having an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket cost a moderate amount energy.

The magic of the enchanted scepter is believed to influence the dungeon and making it more likely to generate water and grass. This trinket at the moment, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It doesn't alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are produced to solve danger rooms.

This item, which appears like a newt's eyes is believed to affect your vision in a manner that goes beyond simply narrowing your field of vision. At the moment, this trinket increases the overall health of the drinkers of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and grants mind vision on enemies within Y tiles. This does not stack with the Heightened Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them by defeating Monsters and chests and crates. They cannot be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will affect the trinket that is random, either increasing or strengthening its effects. You can reuse the Trinket as many times as you want, but it will always have a new effect.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets by placing them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy, however it will increase the trinkets power by a tiny amount.
