This robot vacuum-mop makes an ideal choice for apartment dwellers as it uses a smaller docking system and has its own garbage bin. Its app lets you set up various modes and monitor the cleaning. The mopping function is also impressive.

Its mapping, obstacle avoidance, and the mops are stunning. It can pick up pet hair, spills, and dirt. It also self-empties, cleans itself and re-fills its tank.

Roomba iRobot Combination

The iRobot Combo is an iRobot that can mop and vacuum. It's not quite able to compete with our reigning Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which scrubs more and has an app that is easier to use on mobile devices but it does make an excellent alternative. It was able to consistently remove dirt from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most advanced in the world, as it lacks structured light and other technologies like LiDAR, but it was able to avoid most collisions with furniture and clutter.

The Combo includes many of the same features that the j7 Plus does, including the onboard acoustic sensor for determining the floor type and AI-powered Navigation, but it doesn't have the ability to set suction power by hand. It's also a little smaller than its vac-only model, and doesn't come with a self-empty dock.

The Combo is one of my favorites for homes with a lot of space. Its sleek design is also among the most attractive I've seen in the industry. The matte black finish is more elegant than the glossy or metallic finishes of most competitors. iRobot also adds some classier touches, such as the leather tab that opens the bin that is onboard and a shelf that can hold bags in the dock. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.

Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop industry, it's already established a name for itself thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning techniques. Its vacuums boast industry-leading suction power, and the mopping systems of the brand come with vibrating mops that can scrub floors clean. Furthermore, a range of scheduling and mapping options lets you adjust the schedule of cleaning for your home's specific needs.

Another amazing Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance that allows the robot to detect objects that are lower than its height. This is particularly useful for the most well-known Roborock models, such as the Qrevo Master, which is top of its class in terms of navigation thanks to both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been known to run over pet faeces and slam furniture, without even noticing. The Qrevo Master is able to solve this issue with a Reactive Artificial Intelligence system that uses two cameras to see objects within the room.

Roborock robots also come with numerous convenience features that reduce day-to-day maintenance. These include docks that can automatically empty themselves and multi-functional mop washing stations. These features eliminate the need to empty dustbins or wash mops manually, allowing the user to have a hands-free ownership experience. The app is easy to use thanks to its simple design and the lag-free connection to the robot.

Hobot Legee D8

With a wide range of integrated cleaning modes and advanced mopping features the Hobot Legee is among the best robot vacuums/mops for both wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system combines five technologies to plan and follow a path that is the most efficient. It can also identify different flooring materials and identify obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can even lift itself 7mm to glide on carpets. Smart spray system is able to use just the right amount of water for stain removal without leaving marks.

The Legee is a Gen 4 robot that competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 and Ecovacs Deebot T20, both of which are priced higher. It is more feature-rich than either of them and has a more flexible D-shaped body that is able to clean the corners and under cabinets better than a round-shaped robot.
