It took her around 10 minutes to assemble and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video or support number if you have any problems.

The CoZee crib is equipped with all the features you would expect from a crib to your best bedside cot for newborn, including the ability to connect it to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. In addition there is an incline feature that can be used to aid babies suffering from reflux or congestion. Our testers loved the ease of access provided by the side panel which can be moved upwards and down with one push of a switch. This was a huge help during night time feeds, as it meant they could reach into and take their baby away without waking them up.

The side panel can be lifted by itself, too, but it's not recommended as this increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism guarantees that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the bed of the parent correctly. This is a great feature to have in place for peace of mind, especially when you're breastfeeding and need frequent feedings at night.

Telescopic legs enable the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases or beds with drawers. It also comes with an option to tilt for reflux babies and a rocking mode to bring them back to sleep after eating. It's also incredibly spacious and offers excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects despite the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers, but it can still be easily moved from one area to another. It's also small enough to fit in a travel bag when not in use, which is a bonus if you need to transport it. The only issue our testers have found is that the side panel did not move as much as other models. This made it a bit harder to see your baby from your bed.
