The gunmetal base station fills up its own tank with clean water, empties the dustbin into a smaller container, and ishes and drys its own mop pads between cleaning sessions. It comes with advanced features that allow it to switch between carpets and hard surfaces, and remove pet hair from carpets, and clean raised room thresholds.

The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping thanks to its internal dToF system. It can keep an unobtrusive appearance while providing the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop in detection of objects. It can drive close to walls without crashing, and avoids steps, and can also raise its mop when driving over rugs or short-pile carpets. However, it did struggle a little when encountering carpets with a longer pile and also several large, thick piles of dried-on debris.

The S1 Pro is ready to be used right from the moment you purchase it, and it requires only an easy mapping session to learn about your home. Once that's done the map will be displayed in the app and rooms can be added or combined as needed. You can also create virtual boundaries such as no-mop zones, no-go zones, and no-go areas if you don't want the robot to touch certain items.

The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up spills from hard floors due to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to both vacuum and mop makes it a great option for homes with floors of both types. However, its dependence on Eufy cleaning solutions (which are included in the box) could make it less adaptable as other robots that allow you to use your own cleaning products.
