While this was rare, it was a frustrating experience when it happened and especially because the X1 Omni does not have an "stuck" status alert in its app.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.

On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot vacuums uk, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern, sleek base and mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome sight in a space that is dominated by clunky boxy models.
