What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The upgrader for items adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no benefits to gameplay other than making it easier to view and buy upgrades.

Boosters

Some of these boosts are suitable for specific builds (such as Whistan's shield for FB sorcs) while others can bring an enormous amount of value to certain collectors.

Some items have an inherent boos that are less useful when upgraded, such as the Goldwrap which provides more slots for potion. These are often upgraded to add more value to a near-perfect or perfect item.

Costs

There are some costs associated with item upgrades. The first is the cost to perform the upgrade. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and is dependent on the new ilvl of the item and the number of perks it receives. It is also costly to upgrade an item to a higher tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).

The second is the cost of materials required to upgrade. The items used are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and over) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). The amount of these items needed can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

Upgrading an item is a complex process that requires time. It can take up to 8 hours, depending on the magnitude of the upgrade. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the new ilvl of the item bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some cases an upgrade may grant additional benefits. These perks are offered on a list.

In rare instances the upgrade will only replace the highest-costing perks. The upgrader can also make other adjustments to the item, such as changing the type of damage it deals to its weapon or eliminating an operational or unwieldy function. These modifications are based on the item's ilvl. They may also require special materials, like the adamantine.

Success Rate

The process of upgrading an item is based on chance. Like any random system, there is a possibility that it will not succeed. However, there are a few things which can improve the chances of success. These include the use of an item known as an Upgrade Pity or the addition of extra materials to the upgrade.

An Upgrade Pity is an item that you can purchase from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of a successful upgrade by some percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus that some items have but is more solid. It can be added to any armor or weapon and is able to be used up to three times.

It is also possible to add a variety of additional elements to the upgrade, which increases its chances of success. These materials are displayed in a window located above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is shown directly above the + button.

A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version thereof can be used to increase the chances of a successful upgrade. This item can be useful in the event that your item or weapon is near or has reached the maximum level of its tier. This item lets you upgrade the equipment to the next tier without the risk of it breaking.

If an upgrade fails it will be restored to its original condition. This is typically a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. Save an upgrade until you're close to the highest level for an item.

There are a variety of items available in the Kafra shop that can be used to increase the chances of an upgrade succeeding. You can increase your chances of success by enhancing your equipment several times using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. Failure Rate
