Three Wheeled Buggies

Its tyres (which are inflatable so need occasionally pumping) offer built-in suspension, which was very comfortable for my kids.

Another thing to consider is the size of the seat and shape. It should be big enough for your child's comfort. You will also require it to recline so that they can lie flat. Certain three-wheel buggies have a full lie-flat option while others allow the parent to be facing one.

An excellent option for taking on off-road and muddy trails is the Roma Atlas. This is problematic if you intend to use it as a jogger or you need to get through doorways that are narrow while on the move. Fortunately, the majority of models come with small folding options that let you remove the front wheels to make compact storage.

Easy to manoeuvre

A three-wheeled buggy is easier to maneuver with children. The way in which they are built means that the front wheels spin on a dime and are extremely maneuverable which makes them perfect for difficult terrain such as parks, cobbles or bumpy pavements, as well as dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tried out a three-wheeler with her infant and toddler and said: "The Terrain was a pleasure to maneuver over tough ground with the swivel rear wheel particularly useful. I was also impressed by how well it dealt with the kerbs, particularly when using the brake operated by hand. It was extremely stable when going downhill or on uneven terrain."

The only downside of this incredible maneuverability is that the three wheel buggy's larger wheels do sometimes mean it has to struggle in tight spaces - something to be aware of if you live in a city region. If this is an issue, a 4-wheel buggy might be a better option for you.
