The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it has received such high marks from customers. It's extremely light - the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg - and it's also super-easy to build. In fact I was able to put it up and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty impressive considering it included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!

The seat is wide and comfortable for Annie who is 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to operate. The basket is spacious with plenty of space, and I find it nice that the handle bar comes with an area to keep your keys and phone secure.

The only issue is that the handlebar is low, which could be an issue for taller parents. It's covered with soft, supple leather-like material, which is easy to wipe down.

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is made for sporty parents who want to get outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on field and forest paths and the front 3 wheel push chair can be rotated and locked for additional versatility. It also comes with a cushioned 5-point safety harness and front bar to ensure your child is safe throughout your journey, while the parking brake is able to stop the stroller from moving even when you take a break. The seat can be adjusted to a laying position and the canopy can be opened to allow for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate the needs of dad or mum.

Red Kite's Pace is a great product from the affordable British brand. They are renowned for their simple, well-designed products that are essential for parents. It's their latest and most expensive addition to the bargain lightweight stroller line. Similar to the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo, it is car seat-compatible, so it can be used from birth.

The new Pace features some stunning design elements, including rose-gold hues on the hood, chassis and stroller trims, which really distinguish it from. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics on the stroller and the car seat are super elegant and there is an option to add a co-ordinating leather cover handle and bumper bar, too.

It's suitable from birth to a max weight of 22kg and the stroller seat can easily be converted from the carrycot to a 2-in-1 reversible mode, facing the parent or the world. The stroller seat has multi lying positions, a soft padded leg rest support and has an extendable sun canopy with hidden zip sections, a see through flap and an adjustable sun visor.

When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 inches x 43cm and 32 inches, which allows it to be used as hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. Two buttons on each side are easy to utilize and press to lock it in place.

It's slightly larger than most pushchairs, yet does not feel heavy or bulky when you're pushing it across bumpy surfaces.

The fabric for the seat is machine washable and the faux leather frame and grips are easy to clean. It is also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt comfortable in the urban streets. A bonus feature is that it incorporates accessory points, meaning you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. The hood can be used to block the elements of wind and rain, but it's not waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled board (not included) that gives your child more leg room. The bassinet took about 20 minutes to set-up and it took a similar time to convert it into an actual seat.
