The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model to pick if you are looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than other models, making it more maneuverable in tight spaces or under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it one of my top navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It's got a battery of 4600mAh that can last for up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can be more efficient when using turbo). It can even return to its dock to recharge its battery during the cleaning.

It's efficient and does an outstanding job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one motion. Its suction motor of 8,000pa makes short work of picking up sand, dirt, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets, and the dual side brushes help to clean debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by much. The rotating mop spins fast and makes use of 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which is helpful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can be used to clean larger objects, such as broken toys and fallen books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot vacuums that mop mop and vacuums I've used. It is quieter and doesn't produce as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform mopping, and is separate from the vacuum. It's simple to set up and is effective, but it's something you'll need to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.

The robot is divided into two parts, a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped out and in and a mopping unit that has a microfiber pad. The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it comes with some unique features that are worth considering. The X1 Omni is most notable for its massive dock that serves as a charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dustbin and the 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base also has a variety of control buttons that let you manually start a cleaning task, recall the robot, or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle a child lock, which is a nice feature for robot vacuum that mops parents who are worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at finding objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally get caught up in an obstruction, such as a power cord draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you remove it manually. This was a rare occurrence, but frustrating nonetheless, since the X1 does not have an "stuck status" alert on its app.

Another potential downside is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad however, the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a significant contrast to the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing appearance in a market which is dominated by clunky boxes and clunky models.
