Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.

For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon, or rings. The item is replaced with an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't preserve the original item's level and any money wasted won't get compensated.

Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item upgrade such as increasing its damage.

Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to produce it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next Success is to be rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open they show a complete description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. These stones can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item upgrades and then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item upgrader kit. This makes it an excellent way for players to get an advantage in battle without putting stress on their bank account. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.

For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. The process will continue until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item at once. Additionally each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be applied in addition to an appropriate amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. When the player has enough items and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available to it. Likewise, once an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade Tokens.

The upgrade items (linked here) can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is added to an item, it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an open window that displays the required requirements. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) the level of the Best item upgrader as well as the upgrade item Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

Once you've met the required requirements for upgrade items an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
