The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your home, organize cleaning schedules, and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also adjust the suction power and how much water the mop is using.

A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles prevents it from running over wires, furniture or even stray toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in one session and can raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from getting too damp. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pets, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on a surface.

The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in deep cleaning. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, and only need to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power and best robotic mop and vacuum returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've tried.

This is a very complete and robust product, with its only downsides being that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my testing it did well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift long hair with no knots. The mops were also great in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's real highlight is its docking station that is multi-functional. The dock empties its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for the mopping function and even dry the mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out as well as the water tank and dust bag must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to remember that the mop pads which are bought separately are required to be replaced regularly too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a smaller budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can find but its high price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out among other models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot vacuum that mops and is constantly supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept away into the front bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked in by the heater elements of the tank and empty into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you do choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map the area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs in my tests however this can be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean every area that is mapped by this device or select individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've evaluated, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat manner. Its "Normal" pathing option covers a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.

The machine has a major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a simple solution: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up" at the conclusion of each vacuuming session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces and dust that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition, and it helps the robot make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
