1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO

The i3+ EVO is identical to its sibling the i3 EVO. They differ only in that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. The i3+ isn't able to feature obstacle avoidance features like the i7+ or any other top-rated robots that we tested. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station and automatically emptys the dirt into the docking station's external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning where it started. The i3+ EVO's battery can last for approximately an hour and a half continuous use, and takes around three hours to recharge.

2. IRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line and is packed with the latest features. It's self-charging, self-navigating, and the most crucial feature of all -- it has a self-emptying dustbin that eliminates one of the most important sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum robot.

The Roomba i7+ can remember up to 10 floor plans and their names with Imprint smart vacuum cleaner Mapping, a system that lets it create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and control your robot with voice or through the app.

The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also picked up large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. Its biggest advantage over the eufy, though, is its self-emptying dustbin that removes a major source of maintenance and reduces the amount of time spent cleaning.

We were also impressed with the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot to begin or stop cleaning sessions as well as move around the room and even vacuum a specific area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. After being connected, to give voice commands to the i7+, such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This tiny Dyson model is an all-sports car that is amidst a sea of vacuums with cords that feel like minivans and buses. It's powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in the majority of homes, but it is also compact enough to fit on the bookcase or coffee table.

The V10 is powered with a 7-cell energy-dense Lithium-ion battery that produces power that is not fading for 60 minutes. One of iRobot's most popular robot vacuums the 694 is a basic model that's a good option for those who don't wish to spend too much on a robotic. It's capable of sucking up all types of debris and sizes during our testing, and it frequently goes over the same areas many times to ensure a thorough clean. Its flat front side helps to get into corners and along the walls' edges which is a nice touch.

Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home, but it lacks the ability to map that comes with more advanced models like our top rated robot vacuum (Get More) selections and the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. As a result, it is sometimes stuck on things like phone cords or furniture that isn't as sturdy, and often is power-depleted before returning to its base.

It's also more durable, has a stronger motor, and performs better on floors with bare or low-pile.

In our tests of the Jet Bot AI+ excelled on hard floors and handled dog hair (on carpet) quite well, clearing up 86% of it. However, it didn't do particularly well at avoiding larger objects, like cords and socks which was a disappointment. It's also a little more expensive than the other models we tried and could be a deterrent for some buyers.

The smart vacuum has an onboard camera that can be accessed via the app, and you can also set up a live stream from the robot's cleaning station. This feature lets you monitor your pets or children when you're away from home. The dustbin and the filter can be cleaned to ensure the quick and easy cleaning.
