WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like the eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current, Item Level Upgrade it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

They can be bought by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon or tool with the help of The button will show a preview of an item's next upgrade level if there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item slot and the current item upgrader mod level, with weapons costing more than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item level upgrade has been upgraded to a certain degree, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower price.

Upgraders for items can be found in a variety of locations including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount and the chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. It's also essential to use crests with care, since they are only used for one purpose. It's best to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear that you can find and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is particularly relevant for trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character, which will only be able to benefit from the account-wide discount if all of the slots are full of high-quality gear.
