World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades increase the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the weapon's upgrade template ends in %, it will increase 3percent of its previous damage for item Upgrading every time it is upgraded.

Item upgrading costs crests and the current level of the item. The cost increases as the item level rises.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to give them a boost in stats or to add an additional effect. These can be obtained by making crafts, buying from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to a blue level before a component can be applied. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they can't be used multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascending equipment, as as some non-ascended items. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix may be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it is used on (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of the equipment using less Upgrade Crystals than are required to achieve the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A boost upgrade is a way to alter the attack or defense characteristics of a weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them in the cash shop, or by collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

Each upgrade items increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will be available during the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue improving their equipment, even if they're unsure of how much they'll improve following a subsequent reset.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process may be costly and there is a significant possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break when it fails. A failure to upgrade can cause the destruction of the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the risk of failure. Certain upgrades also provide the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs buff the power of all nodes within their radius and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as you can to level 15.

You will often find in the endgame that putting Glyphs is the best way to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded up to level 15 and give a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced however Glyphs are the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restrictions. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt with a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a particular range of values that it can improve a statistic by, and the value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of an Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools and also through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you will need them to be placed on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus that boosts the stats of a specific set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.

Glyphs will boost all nodes that are connected to them, which is why it is Best item upgrader to place Glyphs in the most important spots on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For example, a Druid should aim to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes, however, you may also want to be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The item upgrading system lets players increase the performance of certain items by placing upgraded components into them. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of 385 ilvl. Each item level requires different components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient can be obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or purchased from some NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used for the upgrading of an item level upgrade. When enough points have been earned you'll be able to claim your upgrade and receive its additional bonuses.

When the player upgrades an item it is replaced with a different item of the same kind. This means that the same armor piece will become the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own bonus. This could be a disadvantage, as the item can be more expensive even if you do not need it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can roll the upgrade of their item. The item will be replaced with a brand new one that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This is useful for certain items, but it shouldn't be performed frequently, since it could waste a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can increase their value, allowing players to customize their equipment. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and exits water (or is able to swim like dolphins). The item can be upgraded multiple times, increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item is very important in PvP. A properly rolled version could be worth up to 50x the value of a unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The item will also lose any bonuses it gained like chances to be crit attack damage, additional effects (such as increased heal over time or reloading speed). Whenever an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that if a weapon gains a crit chance increase it will be applied before any attack damage increases.
